The Macallan Quest 1 Litre

The Macallan Quest pays homage to the entirety of the journey and the lengths taken by the Macallan team to source the best oak across over 20,000 miles; concluding with the selection of four different but complimentary casks types to deliver a single malt whisky that creates a genuine expectation of further exploration and enjoyment. American bourbon casks are combined with hand-picked sherry-seasoned European oak casks, sherry-seasoned American oak casks and hogsheads to deliver a character of fresh and lively flavours. The nose is soft with citrus fruits, apple, vanilla sweetness and subtle oak. The palate is warming and spicy, with caramel, oak, dried fruits, ginger and cinnamon flavours. The finish is of a good length, with notes of raisins, wood and nutmeg. Depicting a blue sky, Quest represents the start of the journey where the world is a canvas and the sky is the limit.
