The Kurayoshi 12 Year 700ml

This is the 12 year old Kurayoshi expression – a blended malt from the little-known Matsui Shuzou distillery in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture. This whisky is made with malts sourced from Scotland then blended with Japanese whisky and volcanic-rock-filtered water: aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon white oak barrels, this Pure Malt is non chill-filtered and has rich aromas of barley, almond, lemongrass & orange peel with bold flavours of vanilla, toffee, sultanas, apple and toasted oak. A well balanced vintage.
