Talisker Dark Storm single malt Scotch whisky is matured in heavily-charred oak casks for an intensely smoky flavour, designed to capture the wild, untamed spirit of a full-blown storm at sea. On the nose: peat, smoke, spices, chilli and oak with a hint of apple, On the palate: oak, more smoke, black pepper, liquorice and roasted nuts with hints of orchard fruit and fresh honey. The finish: long, Warm, lingering and powerfully smoky. A fantastic release from the distillery on the Isle of Skye.
