On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with noticeable tannins. The original tasting notes mention “burnt pineapple,” which captures the balance of sourness and roasted, spicy wood. The finish showcases the influence of the three casks, with the tannins complemented by sweetness from the Bourbon, berry-like top notes, a touch of sourness from the French Wine, and a rum-raisin flavor from the PX, all harmonizing beautifully.
