The Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak is drawn from a mixture of Spanish Sherry butts and American bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich, complex flavour profile. The aroma is invitingly sweet and oaky with hints of marmalade, blackberries, luscious dried fruits and well aged rum. The taste is creamy, velvety smooth and slightly spicy. A rich, rounded vanilla sweetness with caramelised sugar, juicy raisins and toasted almonds. Hints of spice develop over time – cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves leading to a long, lingering and complex finish.
